A Family Facing the Unthinkable—Together

In 2018, Bryce Buckley was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and often terminal brain cancer. He defied the odds through surgery, treatment, and perseverance—returning to his passions like weightlifting and basketball. But in 2022, the tumor returned. A second surgery, followed by a severe skull infection, left Bryce significantly weakened. His tumor is now inoperable, and his condition has worsened.

Relentless Spirit: Eli’s Fight

As the family was already navigating this difficult journey, they received another devastating blow—Bryce and Claudia’s young son, Eli, was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma in December 2024.

Eli is an incredible fighter. Despite enduring intense medical treatments, he’s continued to pursue a lifelong passion: karate. Eli has been training for six years and was nominated to test for his black belt this August. He continues to train as much as his body allows, determined to reach this goal and refusing to let cancer define him.

Now, with Bryce unable to work and Claudia juggling caregiving for their five children (ages 4 to 14), daily life has become an overwhelming mix of emotional, physical, and financial stress. Hospital visits alone have totaled nearly 10,000 miles in 2024.

As a community we can rally around the Buckleys in love and support. A Special Needs trust has been established to ensure donations help with housing, transportation, therapy, and care—without affecting their eligibility for Medicaid or critical support programs.

Thank you for standing with the Buckley family. Your generosity brings hope, stability, and a sense of community during their most difficult time.
